Stormy forecast ahead!

We had a very nice weekend after a messy Friday of snow and rain, some parts of the state received over 5" of snow. Then after the storm moved through, the wind came in. And it came in strong. Got many reports throughout the state of over 40mph gusts at some point during this wind event. Today we saw some very nice conditions, highs got into the 40s for a lot of the state. For tomorrow, we will see a nice little warm up for the day, with mostly sunny skies. A low pressure will move to the north of CT, which will allow some warmer air to sneak into the state for tomorrow, highs will be in the upper 40s to low to mid 50s for some of the state. Then after overnight temps drop off into the 30s/40s, Tuesday we will see mostly sunny skies once again with highs in the mid to upper 40s, some towns may get into the lower 50s. Wednesday, thats when the interesting pattern begins. We will see a mix of sun and clouds at the beginning of Wednesday, then the precip moves in. The models hint it at starting as snow, and I do agree with that. So that part won't be the pain to forecast, its how much for that time. Models also show it overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning changing to rain. Some models have this, and some models don't. This is the part that we NEED to pay attention to. Today, the models hint at showing a snowier solution, but guys tomorrow it could show all rain. You never know. Not putting a forecast, but im calling for mixing on Thursday. Then on Friday, it will begin to move out, and on the back side we will see a little bit more snow. I will have continuing updates throughout the week on this storm. Saturday looks to have another storm move through, this one a cold front, looks to be all rain with a possible snow shower/flurry on the back side.
